Blue and White No. 1

Hi there! Blue and white is my color combo of choice, and all my my friends and family members can attest to the fact that it makes up a majority of my wardrobe (especially in the summer), and is pretty much my default color choice. All products listed above are also from some of my favorite brands right now! My mom always jokes that I should be a personal shopper, because my free time often consists of browsing for the newest styles, sales, and specials! One of my goals for growth is to start blog series, so you can get to know me better! What a better way than combining my favorite aesthetic choices with one of my favorite things to do in my downtime… shopping!

Let’s kick things off with that beautiful scalloped pillow…. Caitlin Wilson is a brand I have kept up with no social media for a while! The classic, timeless designs are something that have always caught my eye, and I’m currently trying to come up with a reason to add this pillow to my decorative pillow collection (which, if you know me, might just be quite large…). Next up, that tiny little jewelry bowl! Let me tell you, I keep checking this website to see if they’ve restocked (and I finally snagged one Tuesday night)! Susan Gordon Pottery makes stunning pieces, and they are even able to be personalized, but they sell out pretty much instantly! But if you’re looking to add one to your collection, restocks are on Tuesdays and Fridays, so go ahead and sign up for email notifications. I own this pair of J.Crew pajamas in the version with long pants, but with spring time coming up, I love the shorts option!

There are a few items on this list from Rifle Paper Co., because well, they are one of my absolute favorite brands! I splurged on one of their rugs this summer for my room here at school, and it brings me so much joy every time I walk into my room and see it! The other Rifle item is the Weekly Notepad, which I have considered getting so many times, and I love this newly released pattern! Another one of my top companies: Hill House Home. You’ve probably heard of the Nap Dress… let me tell you, they are 100% worth all the attention they’ve got recently. Comfortable enough to be a nightgown, but cute enough to be a dress, they are the perfect lazy day outfit that still makes you look put together! Hill House did start as a bedding company though, and their new floral pattern for bedding is beautiful. In this list I included the duvet cover, but they also make table cloths, napkins, and the adorable complementary bow napkin rings (also pictured above). You may have also noticed the vanity bag and little purse that are the same pattern in different colors. These are from Neely and Chloe’s collaboration with Julia Berolzheimer. They also released weekenders, cosmetic bags, and key chains in the collaboration, which have been incredibly popular.

Ever heard of Courtney Inghram? If you’re planning a wedding, you should definitely check her work out! She is a floral designer, but she sells the ribbon she uses for bouquets, and you can get a discount if you order in bulk! These ribbons come in tons of colors, and would be a beautiful addition to your invitation suite (maybe with a wax seal?!) or even your own bouquets!

Has anyone else been watching the Netflix show, Dream Home Makeover? Well let me tell you… I’m obsessed! I’m even reading Shea and Syd’s book, Make Life Beautiful. Home decorating is something I have always been interested in, and I love how they mix styles together, and create stunning living spaces that are still comfortable and cozy! The painting shown above is from their collaborative line with Target’s home line called Threshold. One of Studio McGee’s defining factors is making good design accessible to everyone, and what is more easily accessible than Target?!

Last but not least… the leggings and nail polish. I tend to gravitate towards picking one nail polish color that I then wear all season. I think this periwinkle color might just be my new pick! Pastel and calm, but clean and simple, I think this will be my go to color for months to come. And those lululemon leggings… well they are pretty much my wardrobe at least 50% of the time. Align leggings are my favorite style, sheerly because of how comfortable they are. This color would be adorable for spring paired with a white top and some great sneakers for a day of running errands, or even just working from home!

I would love to see some of your favorite blue and white finds! Feel free to drop a link in the comments below for a chance to be featured in the next post!
