Book Lover No. 1
Hi there:
Thanks so much for dropping by my little internet home! If you know me, you know I love to read, and find it very relaxing (when I actually make time to do so). Throughout my life, I have struggled to find ways to actually relax, and for much of my life (mainly in high school), reading was quite the opposite of relaxing, as I was reading 7-10 books every year for school. Once I got to college, however, reading became a way to escape detach from the world around me. Working it into my bedtime routine is something that has come in phases for me, but I always feel so much more relaxed when I do, and honestly helps me sleep better.
My reading list is long… I feel like every time I check one off I end up adding three more. Much of this list consists of classics, so when I want to read something lighter, or more fast paced, I often don’t know where to start. While I love walking around Barnes & Noble, I never can decide what new books I want to add to my collection once I get in there. Because I know I often struggle to find books worth reading, I wanted to start a sort of online collection of my favorites: books I’ve read, books I’m reading, and books I want to read. I recently started a Book of the Month subscription, which has been a great way to introduce new books, but I’d love to give you all my reviews and perspectives on them! (If you use the link above to join, we can all be part of a sort of book club together!)
I’d love to hear what some of your favorite books are, or even just books you’re curious about, so go ahead and comment those below!
Stay tuned for this series to grow! I already have a list of ideas!
xoxo,
Molly
