Meet Molly

Hi friend!

For those of you who don’t know me, or are new to following along on my journey, I’m Molly! I’m so happy you’re here! Photography is something I hold so close to my heart, and I am so blessed to be able to share it with you. For a little bit about me: I am one of four siblings, and family is one of the most important things to me. I love shopping at Target, drinking coffee, and curling up to read a book after a long day. I love to craft and embroider and have been sewing my entire life. I spend my time at Virginia Tech (GO HOKIES!) studying Fashion Merchandising and Design, designing and leading the team that puts our yearbook, The Bugle, together, and spending time with friends. I am a dog lover, and if you’ve been on the blog before, you know I love our family dogs, Star and Oliver (who are curled up next to me as I’m writing this). If I’m ever missing, I’m probably in a Starbucks or shopping in J.Crew, Madewell, or Lululemon. Even though I’m a Fashion major, athleisure is my favorite trend, and what I wear 90% of the time.

Blue and White is my favorite color combination, and shows up in most of my clothes. I love decorating, fresh tulips and peonies, and spending time in the sunshine! Most of my days consist of bouncing back and forth between emails, school work, and editing photos and delivering galleries. With coffee beside me, my laptop charged and ready to go, with my Rifle Paper Co. Planner out for writing tasks down, and a Vanilla Woodwick Candle burning, my desk is ready to go for a productive day. Most of my schoolwork consists of digital creation through the Adobe Suite, so at any given time, at least one Adobe Software is up and running on my computer! I love to represent brands through social media, and have worked with companies such as Hallmark, Belk, and Intern Queen.

The wedding industry is something I have been interested in for so long! I started my first wedding Pinterest board in 8th grade, and have been hooked ever since. Once I started to get more into photography, I realized that wedding photography would be the perfect meld of my interests and strengths. Incorporating elements of fashion, details, and planning (three of my favorite things), weddings blend my organizational skills with my creative passions!
