A Senior Session Overlooking Richmond

I was so excited to see the inquiry for this session come into my inbox. The Topich Family has been close to our family for years, so it was such an honor to take Zachary’s senior photos. And even better, they wanted to take them in Libby Hill, which is one of my favorite locations. What I love about Libby Hill park is the ability to change scenery so drastically by just turning around. If you live in Richmond, and haven’t been there, its a great place for a picnic (with enough space for social distancing), a leisurely stroll, and spending time with friends. Overlooking the city, you can also see the river and see the quaint city streets surrounding the park. There are adorable cobblestone pathways through the park as well, which are great for an evening stroll. And the sunset over the city… let me just say you need to experience it for yourself because it is absolutely stunning!

I love working with all seniors, but sometimes guys don’t necessarily love being in front of the camera. But Zachary was excited and ready to go! He had such a positive attitude (even though it was insanely hot outside) and was such a joy to work with. And even better, the whole family came, so we were able to get some pictures of the family, siblings, and mom and dad! I always love senior sessions, but family sessions hold a special place in my heart. When I get to do both at the same time, it bring such joy to my heart! After taking a break from shooting for a while, due to quarantine, working with him and his family was such an amazing experience! Thank you all so much for your joy and excitement you brought to your session! I am so honored to have worked with the incredible Topich Family!
