Winter Grad Session
So Blacksburg finally decided to bring out the winter weather… which put an interesting spin on winter grad shoots. Luckily, Sarah was a pro and wasn’t even phased by the fact that she probably couldn’t feel her fingers after the first 20 minutes. That being said, the gorgeous winter sunset added so much beautiful natural light, I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Also, the fact that Burrus is decorated for Christmas was really a stunning finishing touch.
Let’s talk about Sarah for a minute. What an absolute joy to work with! Her bright and cheery smile made the shoot fly by in the blink of an eye. As a student studying Human Development, Sarah is graduating early, with hopes to eventually work in the medical field. We soon realized we grew up less than an hour apart from each other, and her high school senior photographer, Hope Taylor, has also been an inspiration and educator for me as a young photographer.
Sarah, thank you so much for letting me capture these special moments as you are about to graduate. You were a joy to get to know and spend some time with! Best of luck on all your future endeavors! I am sure there are great things in store for you!
